Onyfix Toenail Correction
Beautiful nails begin with a healthy foundation.
Casa De Dee Nails LLC — a private nail suite, by appointment only.If one of your toenails grows in or curls in at the edges — if its edges press and dig in, if shoes have become uncomfortable, if the nail has changed shape and no longer lies flat — clipping it shorter does not change the shape it grows in. The shape itself needs correction, and correction works by holding the nail in its shape as it grows.

When a toenail needs correction, not just care
A toenail that needs correcting shows itself in familiar ways. It grows in at the edges. It curls in at the sides instead of lying flat — the shape called involuted. Or, over time, it simply changes shape, until the nail is deformed. Onyfix is made for toenails like these. Clients describe the feeling in plain words — an ingrown feeling: the edge pressing in, tenderness when a shoe presses down, a toenail they would rather no one saw.Cutting an ingrown or curved nail back brings relief for a while, but the nail grows back in the same shape it had. What changes the shape is holding the nail to its shape while it grows — and the starting point here is always the same: assess first, recommend second, never rush. Yehudeet, a New York State licensed nail specialist and private nail concierge, is Onyfix certified for toenail deformity correction. She examines the toenail before anything is applied — and recommends only what the nail in front of her actually needs.
What Onyfix is, and what it does
Onyfix is a toenail correction system. It is made for toenails that grow in, and for toenails that curl in at the sides instead of lying flat — the shape called involuted. It is not only for one kind of toenail, or for an early stage — ingrown, curled, or deformed, nearly any toenail can be corrected as it grows. A small strip of composite is shaped onto the toenail and set in place. The strip stays where it is put: it holds the toenail in its shape while the nail grows, so new growth comes in toward the shape the nail should have. Nothing pulls on the nail, and nothing forces it. It does not hurt to have it applied. There is no surgery, and the nail is not cut away.Onyfix Toenail Correction — from $95For toenails that grow in, curl in at the edges, or have lost their natural shape. The correction is applied by a certified specialist — and your toenail is always assessed first. No surgery, and the nail is not cut away.Onyfix Maintenance (existing Onyfix clients) — from $75Return visits while the nail grows — about every six weeks — to check on the correction and reapply the band when it is needed.Correction follows the growth of your own nail, so it is measured in months, not in a single visit
— and some toenails need a second cycle of growth before the correction is complete.
What an appointment looks like
Appointments are one-on-one, in a private suite in Amityville with its own entrance and
bathroom, and they run about an hour and a half to two hours. Nothing is hurried. The first part
of your visit is the assessment: Yehudeet looks closely at the toenail, talks with you about how it
has changed, and tells you plainly what she sees — whether correction is what the nail needs,
and what she recommends.
One boundary, with no exceptions: Yehudeet assesses the natural nail — she does not diagnose
medical issues, of any kind. If a toenail looks like a medical doctor needs to look at it, she will say
so plainly, and recommend that you have it seen.
If Onyfix is right for your toenail, the band is applied from there. Every service ends with
aftercare recommendations. The recommendations are part of the service — the creams that
suit your skin, and cuticle oil made for you by special order, if you would like your own.
Who this is for — and who it is not for
This correction is for the person whose toenail is ingrown, involuted, or deformed; whose nail
edges press and dig in; who has quietly changed which shoes they wear because of one toenail.
It is for a nail whose shape is the problem. It is not a quick fix or a cover-up — and it is not offered to anyone whose toenails do not need it.
Corrective work here is need-based only.
Proof, over months — not minutes
A small number of recurring clients have their toenails corrected this way — visit by visit, as the
nails grow out. At each check visit, about every six weeks, Yehudeet looks at the correction
closely, and the band is reapplied when it needs to be. That is the honest shape of toenail
correction — real change, at the speed a nail grows — and because every toenail starts from a
different shape, the assessment always comes first.

Questions people ask
Does it hurt? No. The band sits on top of the toenail, set in place. It holds the nail's shape while it grows — it never pulls, and the nail is never forced. There is no surgery, and the nail is not cut away. What happens once the band is on?
You go back to your regular activities. Sneakers, shoes, sandals — you can wear what you would normally wear. The band stays set on the toenail while the nail grows. How long does correction take?
It depends on the toenail, and it is assessed at the first visit. A toenail grows slowly, and the correction moves at the speed of that growth — the band stays set in place, holding the nail's shape as it grows out. Your correction is checked as the nail grows — about every six weeks — and a full correction takes months. Some toenails need more than one cycle of growth. You will be told honestly what yours looks like. What happens at the first visit?
The first visit begins with the assessment. Yehudeet examines the toenail, talks with you about how it has changed, and tells you plainly what she sees. If Onyfix is right for the nail, the band is applied from there; if it is not, she will tell you that instead. What can you help with — and what can't you?
Yehudeet assesses toenails and corrects toenail shape with Onyfix — ingrown, involuted, and deformed toenails, corrected as they grow. She does not diagnose medical issues. If something looks like a medical doctor needs to look at it, she will say so plainly and recommend seeing one first.
